Fuse/Relays on my track project
OK - '79 EURO 5-speed project track car...stripping her down for a dedicated AX/DE (maybe more one day!) car...
In looking at the relays and fuses - it appears that the only ones that will be necessary are:
Fuses - Just #22 - Fuel Pump
Relays - XV - Start-Bridge and XVII - Fuel Pump
That being the case - couldn't I just dispense with most ALL the wiring - and just wire for the 2 items listed above??? (and - of course - the brains wiring!) - there's got to be 100# of wire in these things!
can this be right???

Hi Mark,
I need to spend time documenting it, and now that is has been a year those brain cells aren't so ready at hand anymore. The manuals were critical to my effort.
I plan on cleaning it up a bit at some point to create a process for others to follow. Maybe this winter, depending on what particular project gets priority.
Offhand, you need;
a circuit to turn on the starter
a circuit (#15) to switch on the ignition, accusump and fuel pump relay, instrument cluster,
a circuit for the electric cooling fan
a ciruit for the tail lights
a circuit for the wipers
