Vibration at 37-44 mph
Here i am again with another problem that haunts me ever sence i started to restore my 928!
The car:
S4 88 275k miles the engine is a 90' s4 with 75k miles.
Auto gearbox
Problem:
I get this vibration kind of like a very unbalanced wheel at 60-70 KPH(37-44MPH) Regardless of the gear i am in. Drive 75KPH and its fully gone.
on the way to 70 u can sort of feel a light stutter among the speed(again regardless of gear). side note; i can hear a "whine" from the back of the car.
Things i have done:
When i refitted the engine everything got new or restored pretty much
got the injectors cleaned got new feul dempers and regulaitors, seal, bearings etc etc..
New engine mounts and new tranny mounts and did refill all the fluids of gearbox and differential.
Most people i see whit vibration problems talk about rpm based vibration wich dosnt seem to be the case for me.
And before i start trowing money towards the drive train i rather ask more capable people then my own intuition.
Thanks in advance,
