Default Sway bar to Drop link connection

Checking out my brakes and front suspension today and I noticed this. It looked odd to me and I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be this way.

Passenger's side. Looks correct.

Driver's side. This doesn't look correct.

So, is this a big deal? Can I just unbolt it and mirror the passenger side? Do I need anything new? Will I need to get it re-aligned after?

It actually makes no real difference and no change to alignment if you move it...

Wait what?
it looks like the left side end of the sway link is on the opposite side of the sway bar.

To fix it, loosen the lower left shock bolt,
then remove the lower left sway link bolt,
then remove the lower sway link bolt on the right hand side,
pull the sway bar down,
then push the left link so it will line up with the outside of the sway like the right side does.
reinstall all of the bolts

You'll need both wheels off the ground. Getting everything lined up correctly is easier if you also loosen the M10 bolts at the frame mounting points. Once the drop link bolts are in correct position you can tighten everything back up, but you want things loose to get it all aligned

Hey Rick,

What Stan said.

On the driver's side, the link is on the wrong side of the sway bar.

No need for an alignment after.

I knew you would not leave this like that.

You're welcome my friend.

No driving yet. I have front wheel and tire issues that need addressed.

there will be no difference....the drop link can be / or l or even ( or ) . all that matters is that the loads at the ends rides on the same pivot points.... you could even use an S
