My 928 seems to have a hard cold starting issue lately. After sitting for a week, I attempted to fire it up this morning and it seems like the starter catches, but the motor won't fire and idle, but rather stall out.
The following has been replaced within 15,000 miles sensor, fuel and ignition related:
Temp II
MAF
Spark plugs (100 miles ago)
Injectors (Ford 19lb)
FPR
Fuel Dampeners
Caps and rotors replaced 30,000 miles ago.
Pressing the gas while cranking immediately fires it up and the idle is glass smooth. Warm starts are no problem and the car is not slow to crank.
On a side note, the car sits on a battery tender most of the time and is driven twice a week on the weekends.
Kinda stumped...

It may be possible that your fuel pump check valve, which holds fuel in the fuel lines, may have gone bad. You'd have too adapt a inline fuel gauge and watch the pressure after you turn it off. It should maintain. Or see how long it takes to build pressure before starting.
