Default is this a redesigned fuel pump?

I've had two sites state that this is a replacement for the 1990 928 gt intank fuel pump. Can anyone confirm?

Do yourself a favor and do not buy 928 parts off Amazon. That part has nothing to do with a 928. It amazes me how many people try to save a buck or two by doing this. Send a message to 928sRus and get the right part the first time at a great price.

+1

Their database is beyond broken. I went through three sets of rotors before they shipped me the correct ones for my Saab (because the 9-5 is such a rare car...).
The only reason I purchased from them was free shipping on EBC rotors.

Unless you have a local shop with intimate knowledge of the 928 and a good source for ordering parts, only work with the known Rennlist vendors.

+1. (The part pictured in that Amazon link is not for any type of 928.)
