So it looks like Sharks In Hell 10 was a success, probably the best turnout of 928’s that we have had in a long time. Weather was excellent, food was outstanding, and we had a great time. I would like to thank all of the vendors that sent door prizes and funds to sponsor the event, especially Robert Budd for purchasing all of the pizza Saturday night, and Chris (Monks Motors) for helping fund the t-shirts. We have tried to keep this a free event and with their support that has happened once again.

Big thank you to the 928 owners that bring all of the food and drinks for the event. AO, Dave K for all the behind the scenes work, and Haley for the awesome t-shirt design again this year. And last but not least, to my wife Karen for putting up with us for the past 10 years, and running to the store and grabbing whatever we are missing during the event.

First to arrive, last to leave.

If anyone was expecting photos from me, you can forget about it. Though I'm loath to admit it, I spent all of those hours shooting without a memory card in my camera. (stupid, stupid, stupid).

I think next year if I still have my Shark we should do a fun run to a not too close breakfast destination after we tidy things up in the morning. That would really top off an already really great event.

Thanks to Mark, AO, Dave... and the rest of the Michigan crew for hosting the event. We had a great time as always. Also, I wanted to thank Rob for the pizza.

Hope to see some of you guys out at Frenzy, if not, see everyone next year in Hell.

What an awesome event (as always). Did we ever get a final count? In know I heard 33 from a few people and some said 40? AWESOME!

Thanks to Mark and family for again hosting the clan.

HUGE THANKS to Roger from 928s-R-Us, Rob Budd From Classic Leather, Rich Guzman and Ben Salvador for donating the door prizes. Also BIG thank you to the 928OC for helping with t-shirts. They were a huge hit. Finally, a Big Thanks to Chris Braden from Munk's Motors. Without their support, this event would not be the same.

I asked 928OC members to raise their hands and at least 20 people raised their hands. We asked other to please consider joining if they were not members. I saw at least 1 person signing up!

I wish the camera on my phone worked, otherwise I would have taken some pics. This event has become a superb event. My liver doesn't agree, but my psyche does.

We tried diligently to fix Rich's intake leak. Found a couple issues, but in the end we feel it must be the two oval paper gaskets on the bottom of the intake that are leaking. They're acting like reeds and whistling away. My guess is there is a lump of powder-coating buildup or something that is preventing a tight seal, Unfortunately, we didn't really look at it when we pulled it off, because a few of us went "A - ha!" when we saw a few other things amiss. Anyway, it should be much easier now.

I'm eyeballs deep in work, but will re-surface soon enough.

Otis thanks for posting a pic of me using my DVM to set the Idle position switch and not the vice grips LOL

AO thanks!!!

"I asked 928OC members to raise their hands and at least 20 people raised their hands. We asked other to please consider joining if they were not members. I saw at least 1 person signing up!".

Yes several people approached me, started filling out forms, I directed all the OC web site to sign up there.

I didn't make it to Hell this year, but will be there next year for sure. It looks like there were lots of cars there, and much fun to be had. I'm curious though, The car that got the intake R&R has a hood liner with the PORSCHE crest, and There is no substitute. Can someone tell me where that was purchased? I like the way it looks. Thanks all.
