Engine Block Coolant Plugs - Both Removed?
Currently working on getting some new coolant in my system due to my cap issue encountered a month back.
My plan is to drain, fill with 4 gallons of distilled water, run the car a bit to circulate, drain again and then refill with a 50/50 mix of water and Zerex G-05.
The car is currently draining at the PS side engine coolant bolt, but the DS side looks to be a bear to get to.
Given my plan of the intermediary step of the flush with the 100% distilled, and given that the bolts are currently level, is it necessary to remove both PS and DS bolts?
I'm hoping not, but assuming the answer is yes.

Answer is yes. Each bank of cylinders is its own water jacket.

Don't forget fresh aluminum sealing-washers for the re-install, anti-seize, and torque to 19 ft-lb max-- the torque spec in the book is wrong.

Job finished.
Flushed twice for good measure (like other aspects of my life )
Crush Washers on, anti-seize on. Ended up torquing by hand due to the confined space and my lack of confidence in being able to get a good read. Snug, but not block-crushing. 2 gallons of distilled water, 2 gallons of Zerex G-05, pre-mixed, poured patiently with towels wrapped around the coolant tube.
Took her out for a drive and all good. Will monitor for leaks.
Thanks for all feedback / tips / info. Love this board.
