Default Flag mirror broken

Howdy all! My passenger side mirror seems to have worked itself loose (it's flopping around). I was going to take it off to fix the inner screw thing, but the Allen bolt is quite stuck and I may have stripped it. Sigh.
The base is a bit loose now too. Advise on how to proceed & get that Allen bolt out? It's soaking in liquid wrench overnight...thanks

If the Allen head is rounded, you could try a torx bit, or a easy out bit, next to last resort would be to slot the head with a dremmel, last resort would be to weld a bolt into the head.

If you'd like to drive the car before fixing the mirror, couple wraps of duct tape around the circular seat for the mirror and it will sit snugly on it without flopping around.

Thanks I think a torx bit is next on the agenda.
