Hello all,
Looking for suggestions as soon as possible for having a PPI done near the Freeport, NY area of Long Island.
I've had suggestions of a shop in Roslyn Heights (about 13 miles away), and Smithtown (about 33 miles away).
Just trying to make it as hassle-free as possible for the seller to get the car to a reputable shop. Not saying the two I've mentioned are not reputable, but if there is a shop even closer, I'm open to additional options.
Thank you.

ElGreco on the forum. Offer to pay for gas for the current owner.
If not, there's a Porsche guy in Freeport-he has worked on 928s and I'm sure could do a basic check-but Panos (aka Pete) owns 4 and works on another 4 or 5.

Porsche of Freeport is a very young dealer-less than 10 years, I believe. All their techs have next to 0 experience on a 928. Rosyln's been around but all their guys with 928 are either retired or independent.

I may ask if either POSS or Rudtners would be willing to open their shop to Elgreco if he would be willing to make the trip if I paid for HIS time and gas.
Thank you for the suggestions.

Elgreco has been suggested, but even Roslyns was too far away for the owner to want to have to take the car to, and is the reason for POSS.

Clean Autocheck, and based on the dates it lists, the car wasn't in the Freeport area at the time of Sandy.
