Clay bar seems to work, but will be a PIA. Coffee and clay bar in the morning.

Thanks Rob

No it does not unfortunately. I think someone just sprayed it close by into the air on purpose. No other cars damaged.

There are some pretty petty people out there. Don't think I will ever take it back to the office although so many love seeing the car.

Clay bar... as Rob suggested, sooner rather than later.

Since the process of removing it will likely abrade the paint, I'd recommend polishing the damaged areas once the paint cure time has lapsed to remove any surface scratches.

Clay bar and any "speed and shine" like mentioned.
Just spray a lot of spray and shine and try to gently remove as many as you can with your finger nail first.
Then use the clay bar.
And a good polish.

That's what I would try first.

Hope this will help.

Ugh! That just totally sucks. I feel your pain and disappointment. I only wish I lived closer, I'd be there helping you to rub the paint out. If it seems like too much work, seek out a real pro detailer. They can fix that right up.

So sorry this has happened to you. Just so undeserved.

^agreed. If the clay is unsuccessful, go ahead and contact a really good local detailer. They will certainly know what they are doing.

All,
Not sure I will ever learn who did this, but it's all clean and awesome looking again. Clay bar with the lubricant and then a quick once over with the Chemical Guys Quick Detailer with carnuba and it looks as good as before.

Luckily the crap was not stuck on there too badly.

If I ever do learn of the dickwadd that did this I will have him fired and also press charges. Most of these types meet a terrible fate in the future anyways.

Good wine and good food coming up. Have a great Memorial Day everyone.

Default All better now

All better now Victor, thanks. I am still going to have an expert look at it.

BTW, car is running great especially after Jim C. worked his magic with the tuning. Had some one piece shims made for the interface of the air cleaner nozzles to the contact point at the radiator. Work great and a very tight seal. I'm sure you also saw the Oil/Air separator I had fabricated. No more hoses making an oil mess on the underside covers.

Was this confirmed- was it special order?
I came across one in europe some years ago, I don't recall which country. Could've been a repaint I suppose.

I guess GM appreciated it!
