Default RHD Hood release

Gents,

Just a quick question I'm sure some one can answer.

Need to get a new hood release cable for my 84 Euro S - RHD.

PET lists the following for this part

Wire Pull - 928 511 037 04 - /LL
Wire Pull - 927 504 037 00 - /RL

Can I assume that the second one is correct??? All US websites list the first number, but that it only applies to 87 and above.

Yes 927 504 037 00 is the correct one for RHD. Just installed one on mine.
RL means Rechts Lenkrad=Right Steering wheel.

For RHD parts I found it better to order from Teile.com in Germany/Poland
http://teile.com/en/porsche-parts-sh...50403700/77755
Closer to the source and no extra fees for bringing parts from Germany.

Hi, if you order from 928sRus with your vin and specify RHD you shouldn't have any issues. Roger is ex British and understands RHD.

Because we order so many RHD parts Porsche actually stocks them in Atlanta - 8>).

Price for the RHD hood pull cable is $48

I ordered RHD parts before from Pelican and ECS and it took long time and they added 20% on all due to shipping fee from Germany (including the wire in topic).
That was before I started using 928srus. If you can get RHD parts within reasonable time without adding on the price then I rather order from you Roger.
Gave up ordering RHD parts from US after bad experience from Pelican and ECS (claimed none of the RHD parts were available in US).

Yeah, thanks Roger. Got your email. Should have my list together in a few days (including the cable).
