Range of driveshaft movement within TT during service

I have searched within the List but cannot find this out. Likely a goofy question, (but hey, that's a core competency!).
'92 ROW GTS Auto ex-Japan, 85,000km
SuperClamp, BlackSeaRD driveshaft and BlackSeaRD TT bearings installed 3 years ago. All good, flexplate and crankshaft axial play normal as found.
Rear shaft sleeve clamp (as yet) untouched, but no rust-dust indicating slackness or wear. Will change up to new pinch bolts P/N 931-421-240-00 as part of this service -
Attempting a rear main seal along the method of Bill Ball linked here
Question;
When the pinch bolts are removed from the rear shaft sleeve, how much (if any) can the driveshaft be moved rearwards, and what is the clever method to re-center before re-installing the (new) pinch bolts?
I appreciate this List and the collective wisdom posted therein...hoping some will permeate into this dusty cranium. Thanks/T

Rear bolt (singular). With new bearings and assembly out of the car my shaft had zero free fore and aft movement. Could be adjusted with a block of wood. The rear of the shaft, unlike the front, has a radial groove. The pinch bolt is located in this groove. If all you are doing is replacing the bolt, then other than for checking that the bolt will slide in in the groove, no need to move the shaft fire or aft. Do not let the rear collar slide forward or you'll have to fish it back out. Doable but a nuisance. The job done properly would have the front clamp loose then the rear bolt replaced then the front clamp tightened - with a new bolt - after confirming crank thrust bearing tolerances are ok.
