This makes me feel better. I assumed the heads were worth $1000 and since the rest of the engine was unknown I parted with it all for $1200...

 

I resurrected an old thread because Mark mentioned he had some pistons for an early 80's euro. I sold a fellow rennlister the engine from my '83 euro and it has a bad piston. I never heard it run so I had no idea. Maybe I can get him to post a picture of it here for reference. He also has a thread going titled Surprise...
