Help with A28 Trans Troubleshooting Guide
Hello, I am in the A28 Trans Troubleshooting Guide.pdf that came with the CDSET.
I am on Card with the Code S 1.
Complatine: Selector level positions "P" and "R" cannot be engaged.
Details: Check whether selector level can be engaged on a stopped engine.
If Yes: IN 9
If No: IN 10
Alright how do I found where IN 9 is? I don't see a cross reference section that says were to go to find out what IN 9 is. thanks

Scroll further past the "Complaint" section to the "Possible Damage Cause" section and find the cards marked IN9 and IN10. The "IN" designation indicates that cause can be corrected with the trans installed in the car. The dreaded "RE" causes require removal of the trans from the car to effect the needed repairs.
