I was a teenager, so it was Rebecca De Mornay that caught my attention first

Since that’s the movie that really launched his career, I sometimes wonder why Tom Cruise hasn’t reached out to recover one of the cars used in making the film. From his appearance on Top Gear and stuff I get the impression he’s a motor head and would be into collecting something like that. For all I know, maybe he has...

Mine came from the factory with no rub strips, I'm pretty sure.

Early car's couldn't have them because they were invented and first appeared in '80 or '81 MY. Even since then they could always be left off.

Wow, I never realized how young some of you guys are! I've got shoes older than some of you.

The movie, was a hoot, and Rebecca was prime poon!!!!!!!!!! It was my 1st exposure to the 928, didn't really care for the early models, but I love the S4's. I'm on my 2nd!

For some reason, I get no sound on the video links... But I do remember the movie quite well.
One of my favorite parts is the casting of Richard Masur as the admissions counselor from Princeton.
There is a very subtle part of the scene when he is leaving Joel's house on the following morning.
I don't know if anyone else ever noticed this, but he takes one of the girls with him..! LOL...

Anyone remember "Middle Age Crazy" - the movie with Bruce Dern and Ann-Margaret.
It was made 3 years before "Risky Business".
Bruce Dern turns 40 years old, suffers a mid life crisis, divorces his wife, buys a 928 and chases hot chicks.

THAT was the movie that got me hooked on the 928. Took me 34 years to check that one off my bucket list, but I did.

Now ... about the movie. Obviously it wasn't going to win any Oscars. A mid life crisis at 40???? And who in their right mind would ever divorce Ann-Margaret????

I'm just saying.
