Default 93 gts value, need a little help

Guys, I need a little assistance. I have a 93 gts with 21k miles. auto silver on gray with red piping. mint cond.

What do you think a sale price should be. I see a few in manuals, but not sure on the auto car.

Thanks in advance.

Options on it?

You might look on Wilhoit's site and see what he's got that's comparable.

Totally off the cuff, without any pics, maintenance records, where it is in the R1 rod range, or knowledge of how 'stock' it is, hold out for $60K.

It depends on exactly what maintenance has been done, e.g. when the TB & WP were last done (mileage and age), and how patient you are. You have a very rare car which, if as good as it sounds and well documented, could go very high. Selling for the absolute top price will take time and some effort.

If you can take some time to sell, I'd look for at least $65k if well presented. It may be worth a bit more to the right person.

GLWS. Pictures would be nice

Having said that, I saw this - 33k miles auto '93 GTS at $90k. I doubt that it'd sell at quite that, but it's interesting none the less.

If I would be you, I would keep it for a while.
Keep it with low miles and it will worth quite a lot in a few years.

For now, if it's real nice, around 80k - 90k with the right buyer.

Pictures please.

GLWS.

I agree with Betrand, probably an $80-90K car. If it was a '94-95 and a 5spd, it would be over $100K. GLWS

Is this the car? http://928oc.org/oldregistry/1993-92...-928GTS-29.htm

Description matches it perfectly. Looks nice in the pictures. Any recent pics? If in the same condition as in 2002, I'd say hold onto it.

4K miles in 10 years is kind of awesome and sad at the same time.

Because of the low miles, when you have it serviced, I recommend you also have them dump all fluids – to include PSD and brakes. Corrosive coolant, rusting PSD/brakes, stuff like that is what comes to mind on low mile cars. Please don’t take this as critical review—trying to help you command every penny a car like that is worth. And if you can extinct the conversation from even occuring, you're money ahead. GLWS!

These 93's aren't quite there yet in those very high ranges, but will be in a couple of years. Not as rare as a 95. A 93 auto, in that condition from the pictures (if the same car), with the options listed, is a mid-50s to low 60s car imho. But as others have said, holding out for a bit for the right buyer could fetch $5K to $10K more. How fast do you want to sell it?
These cars are incredible bargains at even the highest prices, when compared to the silly prices the air cooled Porsches are fetching now, and even some other p-cars such as a 914-6.

scooter, your location says Pittsburgh, PA. Not sure if we've ever seen you around. Pittsburgh Cars and Coffee every other Sat in Warrendale or Friday nights at Starlite Car Cruise in Wexford (when they start at the end of May) would be get places to show off your car. Ed and I attend these pretty regularly. We would love to see your GTS.
