Spoke too soon. We did tag a valve. Engines out of the car and I'm replacing 2 bent valves now (just two - I know, go figure)
I'm still going to Mid-Ohio, but as an instructor. I'll get some nice seat-time there in my son's BMW Z4M so that when I go back to Mid-Ohio August 10-12th it wont be the first time I've seen it.
This also gives me the chance to get my Headers out and to Jet-Hot to be re-coated. Love he Jet-Hot headers coatings, but I've modified and re-welded these headers so much they need a touch-up.
