I like it, except change the bolts to a color coded flush style and you would have a winner.

Too bad about the exposed hardware, ruins the fluid lines of the phonedial.

I was agreeing with you

But...better than color coded flush, just go with totally hidden like the ones Jim makes and most Fikse wheels.

Those look great to me. I'd mount them but not at that price.

18x8.5 ET 85, Jeez. Three rack stops, or only 2?

To run them as is, bolt on spacers. Has to be first on 928. Reason is that both outer and inner rim is behind center section. Or rebuilt with wider outer rim for 9.5" fronts and 11" rears.

It's not that far off from other custom three piece wheel prices. There are much more expensive sets around.

I'm prone to like these.
First thought was... wow, these are well designed. Then I realized they're OE cast centers, machined.
Seen this before, not a big fan. I'd be concerned about strength w/o testing data. Wouldn't use them on the track, that's for sure.

Here's what they look like on a 928 in 18" w/stepped-up rimhat.

No, not expensive for three piece wheels.
However, considering how much nicer the one Jim makes (or will be making) without the exposed hardware, these look cheaper (at least to me) by comparison.

After the fad in the 80's/90's of gluing fake hardware on wheels to stimulate the 3-piece look, I cannot stand the look of exposed hardware. Just too busy looking ....... Especially with hidden hardware technology so prevalent in the wheel world.
