Default Replaced coolant overflow tank.

I replace my coolant overflow tank this week. It wasn't as bad of a job as I thought. Once I figured out the important steps and that I have to remove the washer tank neck first. Once that was out of there it came out fairly easily.it was amazing how many cracks I found on the backside of the tank. While I was in there I replaced the hoses going to the tank from the top of the radiator and the one that goes to the coolant bridge.I thought long and hard about getting one of 928 motorsports all aluminum tanks. In the end I went with another stock tank. I need to be able to see the coolant level and that's why I chose it. With Mark's new radiatorin the front and this new tank and hoses I should be good for a while. Of course they replace the water pump last spring as well. Seems like there's always another job another project. But since I drive this car every day I enjoy the challenge of keeping it on the road.course nothing beats the thrill of driving at 9:28 to work, other than driving at 928 in the mountains or across the desert at speed.
