Default IR gun arrives tomorrow, what numbers should I be looking for at radiator?

Looking forward to playing with my new toy tomorrow, and seeing if my coolant gauge is at all accurate (I know they aren't terribly accurate, but I'd like to establish a baseline). Any tips on what I should be looking for at radiator in/out, exhaust, thermostat housing, etc?
I know I'll be checking everything from warm relays to my fireplace
Thanks, guys.

I posted a baseline set of data a few years back for my S4 but I can't do a good search on my phone. Look for less than 170F at the waterpump inlet ("cool" water from the radiator)

And the garage...

And the yard...

And the neighborhood...

Then quite possibly the temps of the cops cars that show up.

Doesn't it have something to do with the thermostat you have installed? Do a search here on "thermostat" and you will find numbers for top hose and bottom.
