Brad Penn is what was Kendall and is still PA crude (good stuff)
Kendall was sold long ago and is mfg'd somewhere else (not PA).
That's as far as I got.

Apparently Kendall is now a Phillips petroleum product. Spec sheet link below. I could not tell you if the 20W50 has the proper amount of Zinc in the additive pack since your specific weight it is not listed. Also, this is a conventional/synthetic blend and not straight synthetic. If it were me I would probably not make a habit of using it- but I see from reading the specs that running your one case through it would not hurt. Oils are so much better blends today then when our cars first hit the streets.

Found a link that states the 20/50 is much higher in zinc content. Is yours conventional or synthetic?
1233 ppm for zinc content.

Sure, why not. It's the right weight and has good zinc and phosphorus (1200 & 1090 ppm respectively... If I'm reading correctly).

I always hunt down the Brad Penn 20 / 50 "The Green Oil".
Read way too much on oil when I first got the car a few years ago. The Brad Penn met what I was looking for in terms of ZDDP and quality. A bit of a Biotch to find up here but not impossible. I have a potential new supplier based in Newmarket, (Previous was in Markham).

+1 on Amazon. I get it from my local mech for about that. Hard to beat that price from a vendor.
My "oil advisor" swears by BP, having opened up many a Porsche motor and seen the results of different oils. He also recommends Motul 300V 15w-50, but it's a bit pricey. I use their 8100 5W40 in my wife's .:R32.
