This part came with a bunch of stuff I ordered the other day, but for the life of me...I don't know where it goes, what it is or why I would have ordered it. It says it's a grommet for a lid lock...?

Any ideas?

Edit: Oh, and I didn't order it from the company in the link, that is what came up when I googled it.

Seal around rear hatch lock??

 

when fitting this grommet to the hatch lid lock surround,
I would suggest to use some Dow Corning 111 in the groove,
then fit the rubber this will stop water from leaking past the rubber

 

Thanks guys. That's where it belongs. Not sure why I ordered it, must have been a mistake, mine is in good shape.
