Default Windshield washer pump attachment

Hi guys,

I know this is pretty trivial, but I need some info on where the bloody hell does the windshield washer pump bolt to in the engine bay. Found it flapping around in there over the weekend, still connected to washer lines and electrical, but hanging down otherwise. I just cant figure out where to re attached in to. I've currently just got it zip tied to the washer fill neck....

So embarrassed I have to ask, but its driving me nuts.......

If it's the same as my 85 then it attaches to right fender well (LHD) in the engine bay. There are 3 rubber "darts" that are pushed into three holes in the fender well. In a MY 85 this is very difficult to reinstall because of the A/C lines that run very close to it. I don't know about a MY 84 (or a RHD car if that's what you have) I re-located mine in a lower position than original.

Thanks, there are some holes in the fender well but they dont really line up with those on the pump. But if that is the correct position, the rubber darts are long gone. I'll see if I can make it work as there is no room anywhere else to connect it.

Much appreciated.
