So the monster snow melt did happen and I can get the 89 out of the garage.
I was thinking of rolling to Midland, TX to see the kids and their munchkins, visiting some old Army buddies around Ft. Hood (centex), hit the Rockport gathering, then out to Laughlin at the Cali/Arizona border to visit some more friends.
Thats about a 4000 plus mileage trip. Any thoughts on spares?
Fuel pump relay ... clean underwear ... pocket full of cash ... ideas, suggestions?

Tyre weld got me out of a hole while I was camping on the Isle of Mull. I drove about 70 miles on it to a garage that could carry out a proper repair. Keep a can or two in the boot.
