Driving home a bit later than usual from work and had the lights on for the first time in quite a while.
It always puts a smile on my face to flick on the headlights, sort of changes a it from a shark into something else ...
Couldn't help but take a quick photo.
Cheers

With the headlights up it turns into an adorable 1950 Austin Healy Sprite
It also helps me park because I can't see the nose of the car and I don't want to bump into a curb.

I find people stopped at red lights staring at the headlamps when they are raised.
It is so very uncommon to have this type of lighting fixture on any new car

I agree. Sometimes at dusk when I see someone at the light next to me looking over, you know they are trying to figure out what the car is, I flip the lights up. It always gets a surprised reaction. My grandkids love it, when my granddaughter sees it she laughs .

Tazzieman has it right with the picture.
Ribbit.
It doesn't help that I have a green one.
I do think, however that they are the coolest and most unique retractable headlights out there,
I love parking mine with them still up (turn key off first, then lights). I 'justify' it by saying that I'm saving the motor an unnecessary trip around. While that is true, these motors have a finite life, I'm really doing it because I like to walk back to the car and see the lights up.
