The height or depth of the small alloy plug sets cold pressure. The height of the steel round section where the lines are attached sets hot pressure,at least in the cars that I have owned with CIS injection.
I have my 79 set @ 0.8bar @ 32 degrees and 3.8 bar at full operating temp.Car starts and runs great without stalling all the time, tested down to -15 degrees Fahrenheit.Slightly right on HOT summer days when first started, but only for a minute.

Mine was originally set 1bar@ 42 degrees F and 3.5 bar at full operating temp.
Specs for my 928S with WUR 0438.140.086 should be : 3.6 +/- 0.2 bar @ warm with engine running with vacuum , 3.0 +/- 0.2 bar warm with engine off and without vacuum
Currently I have :
1.2 bar @ 68 degrees F (cold control pressure, so engine cold at ambient temp of 68 degrees F)
2.2 bar @ full operating temp => this is not correct !
