It's been a LOOOOOONNG time since I frequented this board, but the call of this car has brought me back.

I am looking for advice on a good person or shop to check out a few key points on a car I'm seriously considering as a 3rd car. Mainly, a check on the crankshaft/thrust bearing. I know my way around this car as a previous owner, but it's been a few years since I last owned one. The car, while not perfect, ticks all the boxes for me, but that one key item, I am not sure how to check myself.

Any suggestions? I live in the Highlands Ranch area of Denver.

 

Bob at Euroservice is the guy you want to talk to. He did some work on my 928 and knows them well.

 

 

You need to plug into the Rocky Mountain Sharks email forum. There are at least 3 in the group who also live in Highlands Ranch. Send me an email and I'll try to have one of them get you hooked up; then they will have good advise about getting a ppi or helping you with it themselves.
