Nicole, yes my intentions are to restore it. Anyone know of a parts car for sale? It was owned since new by friends of my family and kept very good care of until a member of that family took it for a joy ride.

I'm glad you are taking care of that baby! Unfortunately, I don't know of a suitable parts car, but they should not be that hard to find. If I were you, I'd look for one in the same exterior color - then you don't have to worry as much about painting the doors inside...
Best of luck, and please keep us updated!

Floormat I have a set of 84 euro fenders that have not been federlized. They would look great on your car. As so have a set of phonedials that are in much better shape then yours.
If you interested email me. Pritchardthor@yahoo.com

Nicole, good idea I'd prefer to buy the same color but at this point I'm willing to take whatever I can get!
Goldknight, I would just need the one phone dial, the rest are very nice. I'm not sure I want to put euro fenders on a u.s. car- I'm one of those original freaks. I was hoping to find an entire car, but I'll keep those with parts in mind. I wouldn't mind using your non federalized fenders on my '81 euro as those fenders are federalized.
Pat, thanks again for posting the pictures.

If I were you, I'd try to get it back in as original condition as possible. This car is a piece of history, as old and low mileage as it is! Photo-Document the damage and the steps of the restauration, in case you ever want to resell the car that'll help you tremendously.
You'd save a lot of work, and some money, if you buy parts in matching colors., PLUS the car will look more original. That's the way I would go, even if hte parts are a little more expensive.
