Digital Gauges
This site has some pretty cool looking digital gauges...

Anyone ever consider just ditching the stock gauges?
Rebuild the pod with more modern gauges, lighting, etc?
I saw that Phat928 did something like that:

The first questoin you need to ask yourself is whether you want "better", or just "different". If you want "better", then you have quite a challenge, in my humble little opinion. I'm not saying it is impossible, and I do favor digital speedometers over analog ones (I always switch my digital odo to show the speed), but making it look professionally done takes some serious effort. Are you ready to take on that challenge? I'd be really curious as to what you come up with!

Certainly interesting, but, I'm not too keen on the "digits only" thing. More interested in the bar graph & digits type displays. I had an '84 Camero Berlinetta with an all digital pod. Here is an example

Nordskog sells some inexepensive digital products, including a universal dash, and a hotrod style, all in one spedometer dash. This is about as cheap as you can get.
