Default Relay question

I received new relays from 928 intl for my new/used CE board for my 1988 928 s4 5 spd. All were correct except for these 3.

Are these part numbers the correct substitutions for these relays??

Part number expected relay number part received
928.618.113.01 IX Intensive wash 928.615.113.01

928.615.117.02 Foglights 928.615.137.01
928.615.203.00

I assume that relay XV Kick-Down is for automatics only and is left without relay for 5 spd. like mine.

Any help you could provide is appreciated.

Thanks!

The 2 relays are not correct substitutions for your year - do not use them

928.615.203.00 is the fuse tester relay - purely as a relay it is equivalent to a 141.951.253.B (and it can be located in any 53B position)

You do not need a kick down relay in a manual.

Your reverse light relay slot should be filled with a simple bridge: 928.615.125.00

I thought so.

It's very confusing trying to use your relay/fuse chart for my MY, and 928 Itnl chart. They are different for these two relays (Intensive wash and Foglights).

I will return them on Monday *sigh*. Another week without a drivable 928 due to parts! Grrrr!

Thanks Alan!

You can run the car without either of these installed...
