Top harness (injectors and sensors) or front-of-engine (power and sensors plus starter and AC from 14-pin)? SeanR is making new front harnesses, available through Roger. I think Carl offers new recreations of those as well as the top harnesses. My concern about a used one is that it's just as old and likely in the same condition as one I might want to replace. For the work needed for replacement, it makes sense to me to install a new one.

I have a couple, one from an 88, but I would think they are the same as 87. I'd need to check out the condition of them. Let me know if you don't find what you need elsewhere.

A new harness would be the ideal route.

well after hearing what you fellas have to say if I can't find a really nice one i think I will build my own. I used to design and build systems for all kinds of automated systems so this should not be to difficult. thanks for your replies as it got me thinking .Ray

Ray, I will second Rogers mention of the getting a new harness .
I saw Sean's work and its a hi quality harness with the correct connector ends and the correct sizes of wire,
with nice sheathing and the right crimping tools being used.
If I needed one I wouldn't think twice about buying one of Sean`s harnesses
NOTE this is a difficult thing to pull off if your only going to make one,
as your going to have lots of left over wire,
and it will take a lot of time to figure out what connector ends you really need to do this job properly,
and where to source them.
So the next question is what is your time worth?
Write a check and go plug and play, you will be done in about 2 hours.
or open the electric diagrams and try to figure out what wire diameters you need,
as well as the correct colors, and ends and crimping tools yada yada yada....
