I got the fuel system pressurized and found some fuel leaks,
got the leaking hoses replaced .
re pressurized the system looked for leaks ,
and then hit the key and it fired right up Yeah so I know it runs.
I still smell fuel so I would venture a guess that the injectors and the their hoses need to be swapped out as it started running worse the longer it ran.
Anyway the car got pushed out of the bay and we are waiting for the fuel tank to come back from the radiator shop.

From the pictures, it looks like it would make a very presentable daily driver. The dash even looks nice.

Well now that you mention it, the outside paintwork of the car is in good condition for a DD,
I would respray the PU covers and the sunroof and the trims along the roof as some of the clear has come off.

The dash looks pretty good but it has lifting at the vents.
the pod is fair with some minor cracking,

Both door panels need to be replaced and the leather transferred to the new panels again not a deal breaker .
The LR quarter liner should also be replaced.

BUT every system on this car really needs to be rebuilt except the engine and possibly the trans ,
I will know more once I get a tank in it, though the injectors may now be clogged .

Its a lot of car with a very healthy appetite for new parts.
BUT aren't they all.

I can see how a breaker might see a machine like this,
though there are not really any good parts to sell except for the body work

Its a fun project for someone thats committed to this particular car.
And has a some disposable income to push it along.

The car in the ad of the first post is a steal and its a 5 speed

I've noticed some inconsistencies between the Weissachs. Maybe one of you could help me understand?
The two I immediately noticed were:
-Some have the door/side pannel molding/trim and some dont.

-Some have the Weissach edition crest on the dash and some next to the clock?

Rub strips are an option. The crest came in an envelope so up to the dealer/owner where to fit it or not to fit it. Not fitted at the factory.
