Default Time for a re-paint

I been working on stripping my 1985 928, to get some body work done and re-paint, my body shop agreed to let me strip and re-assemble to help with cost's. I plan on keeping the original color -Grand Prix White, using single stage paint.

I've always liked white Porsches Vetter and really like white 928s.

Your '85 is going to be a real looker.

Are you deleting the impact strips?

Anyway i'm subscribed,

Best of Luck with the cool paint project.

Good luck with your project it should turn out great.

I had a nice GP white 84 Euro, auto with tan brown interior it was a great car even though the rear PU burned off of it.

Good luck with the project.
Are you going to be removing the black molding around the front door window? Can that molding be removed?

Yes but you end up ruining the little riveted in place triangular corner pieces near the mirrors.....

James,
So you are saying it is more prudent to leave that molding in place and tape it?
