Mark let me drive her briefly last week, the car drives very nicely- reminds me of my '90 GT in terms of the smoothness, pedal and steering effort. Motor is strong, she runs well!
Dunno what's up with Anderson's iPhone camera, must be stuck on the Pinterest 'sepia' setting or something.

I'm relatively amateurish when it comes to 928.
Why is GT so much more desirable than say, S4 manual?
There's only 10hp difference,

You just have to drive it to know.... that's the only way.. those "10" Hp make the car come alive with all the other little things Porsche did in the GT...

Agree with Tom- the numbers (and the dyno curves- here's the '90 S4 and GT factory dyno curves overlaid - S4 in black, GT in gray) just don't tell the tale, beyond that little area under the curve starting at 4600 rpm. Hell, if anything the GT is down on torque and hp vs. an S4 in the everyday round-town 2000-3200 rpm range.
But then, the mental kickdown switch that causes my brain to actually make memories about driving a 928 is activated around 4600 rpm. Maybe that 's why the GT makes me smile more than an S4 (?)
