I could rewrap books all day long if needed. What makes you think it hasn't been rewrapped?

I don't know but it looks new. But lets say if it is new, original wrapping and 100% unused.

Nice find.

I sell first edition sets for between $250 and $400 depending on condition. With the Paul Champagne standard cover about $500 or his leather cover about $800.
I have one wrapped like the picture but also inside the original Porsche box which to me is priceless.
I also have a first edition signed by Prof. Dr. E. Fuhrmann in my collection.

Nice Roger. So the book originally came in a box? Do you have a picture of it? Never seen that before.

I bought a used one on Amazon in October for $16.76. There's one there now for $250. Looks like condition makes a big difference, so I guess it depends on whether you are looking for the info or are a collector.

FWIW, I felt I learned more from Brian Long's book 928, bought new on Amazon for $40. It has a ton more detail.

Hi Paalw, it is hard to put a price 0n a book the market rule the price, offer and availability as for everything rule. But I can tell you that if that thing have never been unwrapped it Worth a lot of money.

I've had two first editions one sold to a fellow rennlist member. However, although not as prominent as others shown. I have one signed by Manfred Jantke, Head of Porsche Sports and PR 1972-1991, which I'll keep.
