Default Tips: torquing inner tie rod

Getting ready to install my rebuilt rack. Just wondering if there are any tricks to getting the high torque on the tie rod end without hurting the rack. To break the torque, I put one wrench on the ground, and put my weight on the other wrench.

I was thinking about clamping the rack end in a vice, and using two wrenches to torque the inner tie rod

dont get too carried away here,
the leverage you can make on the wrenches is quite a bit,
the threads are fine pitch so if the end ever came loose,
your alignment would be way out and you would know it before the end ever came unscrewed. use a few drops of loctite on the threads
