Default Is my car an 86 1/2?

The title lists it as an 85; however, the VIN # ends in 861299. It was built in March of 86.

The serial number does not identify the model year. The letter code earlier in the VIN does that - going from memory, I think that the '85 should have an "F" in the VIN, an '86 a "G".

I think that this shows that you have an '85 1/2 - which, unfortunately, is identical to an early '85.

It's HIGHLY unlikely that an 85 would have been built in March of 1986. What's your complete VIN number?

It's an 85. Couldn't have been built in 86.
