My car does not have its front spoiler. I piked a used one up cheaply. I noticed the front end of my car had lots of contact with the road, and putting the spoiler back on may not be the smartest thing I can do.
I also want to put a belly pan back on. That seems easier, and maybe I can do it without the spoiler.
For the spoiler, some of the metal clips are toast, and i will have to drill out the rivets and fabricate new brackets, I have not worked up the belly pan yet...
So what do people think about the S4 front spoiler...

If you are dragging your front end, your ride height may be too low. Raise it to factory spec limits. It will amaze you how much better it handles.
Regarding the front spoiler: from experience, I will tell you that the front end of your car will get light feeling at high speeds. I will not post the speeds at which that will happen, but it will happen at high speed.
Belly pan will catch air under the car without the front spoiler. There is not a way to secure it across the front without the front spoiler. The belly pan functions as an aerodynamic tool as well as protection from debris in the road hitting the bottom of your engine. Ask Bill Ball if he would generally drive without a belly pan in place after his trip to OCIC '08. I believe he would say no.

Pretty simple for me. Why would Porsche go to all that to put in a pan and spoiler? Personally I do not question the importance of these things. If they were designed that way they go in, regardless of my feelings.
