Hi,
I very much respect all you 928 experts
And i think you'll like to help me find out what these leak come from...
As shown on this photo, you can see the print off the right rear tire of my 1988 928S4 auto tansmission and the 2 gas leak and 1 redich oil leak
Can anyone tell me what could be the nature off these leaks ?!?
What parts sould i be looking at to replace and seal them off ???
Think of this as a trivia question for 928 expert...
Thanks for the info, i'm new in the shark tank

Not an expert, but the "reddish" oil is most likely trans fluid. It could come from a variety of places. If you don't have an automatic, it may be from the power steering. Both are dangerous, the fluid is flammable.
Gas leaks are dangerous. As in "burn the car down to a puddle" dangerous (especially if you and your family are in the car at the time).
It's almost impossible to tell where they are coming from from your pic.
Is that spot under the front or back? Trans fluid and gas can come from either. Power steering is at the front.

The "nature of these leaks" is the car and hoses seals are ALL 27 years old !! Plus rather than looking down at the floor you need to be looking up at the car !
Fuel leaks can be the seals on the fuel line or a cracked gas tank it is plastic and they fatigue crack very common at 20-30 years. Transmission leaks ATF is red commonly the pan gasket when over tightened the pan deforms and leaks. But can also be torque converter seal or the two rubber hoses.
Power steering uses ATF so is also red but most common leaking at front is power steering rack at the ends.

Solved mysteries
Hi there,
Tanks for the infos.
The gas leak was from the fuel filter seal... Change fuel filter and its OK.
The oïl leak is from the end of the cooling line betewen de front of the car and the AT tranny... probably will not leak when the car is driven frequently, so i'll keep a eye on it.
