can anyone tell me if the area over the rear tire on an 87 is supposed to have a concave shape?my pass side had a dent that I pushed out and I'm try to match the drivers side.it has a concaved shape.i removed the rub strip and want to make sure that isn't a dent as well.thanks

The section over the wheel is not concave.
They become concave when the covering starts to shrink.

Here's a picture of a new fiberglass panel we made.

Rob, it is my impression that he is talking about the car body and not the interior trim.

In that regard, OP, there is a slight concavity above the wheel opening in that the wheel arches are slightly flared on all the cars before the GTS.

There are enough pictures on this forum of 928s to be able to compare with. Find and start reviewing the thread that says "post a picture or stay out."

yes,i am talking about the body.i can use the drivers side as a template now that I know that is the shape .thank you.
