What is the most common reason the "cooling air flaps" become inoperative? What is the progressive diagnostic procedure?
Thanks.

Your cooling flaps are controlled from the box that is under the hump on the passenger's side of your car between the seat and the door. That controller takes inputs from several areas and determines the proper opening of the flaps. The diagnostic procedures for the flaps and controller are listed in section 19 of the manual.

My cooling flap relay went bad. Pull the fuse, pull the rubber cover off the manual **** for opening the flaps and make sure they are fully open. I don't think the relay is one of the cheap ones either.... The flaps were later deleted.

Check the 928 Specialist site, or my website. They both have fuse and relay info.
