Even though they were an option, I agree with AO's original post the 80 should have phone dials and no spoilers.
Also, more should be shown without rub strips.

Regarding the CS, he should not have the side protections and rear wiper, and should have a CS sticker in black on the front wing.
Also, as the car is white, the choice is:
- No roof antenna and yellow front lenses. Only one 1988 white CS, and it was delivered in France.
- Roof antenna and white front lenses. Only one white 1989 CS, delivered in Germany. Now destroyed.
I can't read the text. Could someone copy it here?

According to Brian Long, "The U.S. five-litre car was known as the 928S3 on the inside, although the moniker was never officially used and importers or dealers, and therefore, technically, doesn't exist." I like it, though and wish I had ordered my poster before the "revision"!

Yes it wasn't meant to be sarcastic at all, now it doesn't even say "928S" !
IMO he should put the proper name "928S" or leave it the way it was calling out the "928S3" as he did/does with the "928S2".
The 928S3 is a crossover from the 16 to the 32 valve cars w/o the body change as we all know and stated that it was an "unofficial name".
We are doing a group order here in Mi, I'm wishing/hoping he puts it back too

I sent the artist another email and thanked him for his attention to our suggestions. I also suggested that he check out these additional comments before he finalizes the poster. Let's see what he comes up with next.

The artist for this poster is named Andrew and he is going to work the whole thing over this weekend to try to include all of the suggestions on this thread, I think, including putting the reference to S3 back in as before. He has asked me to suggest just what models should be included, with the idea that he is going to expand to 16 928s from the current 12. What are the suggestions for the models that should be included????? Put them here or send them to him yourself, but from here I'll try to send them on.

A GTS w/ flair fenders for sure needs to be included, also one w/o rub strip as others suggested, would be nice to show.
Thanks Jerry.!
Edit: I think we have 6 in our local group order so far.

Andrew has put the GTS flared rear quarters in already, but I think the arch it a bit too tall. I am thinking that the later GTS with US side markers and no rub strip might be included and with the Cup II wheels, but they may not show up much different in the detail of the poster from the Cups in the 92 GTS. I also think he might show the later 90/91 GT again with the D90 wheels, but they too may not show much different from the club sports shown on the 89 GT.
I'm sure he will be pleased with the group buy since he said he has so far sold only 10 of these posters, that is before we got involved.

Andrew is following this thread, so he is getting all of these ideas directly. He also asked about a famous movie 928 so I told him a little about the gold 79 in Risky Business. I also mentioned the pickup conversions, but suggested he leave them out. I like the cab suggestion and he suggested it also.
By the way, when I looked at the paint code sticker in the door jamb of my 85 recently I noticed that it said "S 3" boldly at the bottom of the sticker.

Another thought is that in the poster as now shown (12 cars) nine out of the twelve have the Euro (or ROW?) front side markers behind the front wheels. I suspect that there ought to be fewer and perhaps no more than about half of all of them for a good balance, particularly for the US market for the Posters. Just a thought.
The one car that must have the Euro front side markers is of course the 92 GTS since there was no 92 GTS in the US.
