"Lizard" did the Shark Tuning with help from Sean and Mr. Merlin. Gobs of power I have never experienced before. Can't wait to get her on the dyno. More than enough to go out and eat a tractor just for fun.

So far about 400 miles on the new vacuum system with zero oil usage. Water treatment to get rid of the "Large" build up of carbon which will be repeated. Before you could feel the timing being pulled out all the time but not any more. This is what a GTS should feel like.

I am one very happy camper - thanks Sean, Colin and Stan.
Careful, you are going to scare 991's now.

Wow what a great trip to Third Coast!
Roger hosted me for a week,
I worked on some of his projects.
I got to spend time with his wonderful family,
The hospitality was awesome. Great food/drinks and company.

The GTS is pretty easy to break the rear loose if your not careful,
the Dynamic kick down works a lot better/quicker than you can imagine,
along with a very powerful engine, tuned by Colin.

Third Coast has to be put on your list of great times for a a 928 GTG,
lots of cool people showed up.
I got to meet up with a few more names/faces I have not met, all great people.

PLUS, I got meet that Lizard guy, you know Colin.
I was surprised as I thought he was older than me,
turns out he is 20 some years younger, go figure...LOL

This guy is a totally gifted person, his knowledge and skill set..
What a spectacular asset he is.
If you have any running issues you want fixed,
give him a call, he will get you fixed right up.
If you wanna shark tune your car he is the man.
He makes this nifty oil control system that looks like its doing a great job on the GTS engine on Rogers car,
I can go on and on.

Sean and Roger and I all said the same thing about him,
What a gift he is, simply amazing.

Moving on, I got to ride along with Brent in his Amazon Green Euro boosted 5 speed car,
we were flying along some roads in the middle of nowhere, playing with some Chevy and Caddy machines.

Tony first took me for a ride then let me drive Peachy ,
the 928 with the American V8 monster and a 6 speed corvette transaxle.
This is another amazing machine, incredibly fast, beautiful Pasha seats/interior, great paint.
the shifting is super tight, along with some gear whine, simply heaven !!

All in all a great time, Glen M even showed up from my neck of the woods, what a surprise.
I am so fortunate to be a part of this thing we call the 928 group,
thanks to all the people that made this a terrific event to participate in!

In addition to getting to see the always helpful Stan again, I had the pleasure of meeting Colin for the first time. Imagine my surprise when Roger asked me if Colin could ride shotgun during Saturday's drive. I couldn't believe my good fortune as I had brought the Sharktuner with me to do some tuning on my own - and then to find out that one of our community's greatest tuners was going to be spending a few hours with me.

The drive started and Colin immediately went to work fixing my feeble previous attempts at tuning. After a little while I asked him if he was adjusting mainly fuel or timing or both. Not surprising, "both" was the response - ha! While I was keeping my eyes on the road and not looking at what he was doing, I could definitely tell the difference in engine smoothness and pulling power. I remember two back-to-back 5th gear full throttle runs from low rpm, the before and after difference was amazing - you could immediately tell the car was getting up to speed much faster and smoothly. And then the tuning of the WOT map to redline in 3rd gear, my gosh this thing will gather up some road pretty quick!

Simply amazing talent and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to have him work his magic on my car. Thanks again, Colin!

You have me wondering about something you said years ago—how Porsche de-tuned the GTS so it wouldn’t beat the 911. Seriously considering a drive to jolly ‘ol England next spring to see if Mr. Speake can do the same for mine.

What can I say Imre. I'm at a loss of words reading these posts here. I'm moving homes in 2 weeks and I have a 928 that 300km's after the $10000 rebuilt has again broken valve springs, a failed rebuilt steering rack, a botch job from the last shop putting the engine back together, a bloody 4000pound dead weight in my garage that I need to move in the new house because I simply can't sell the damn thing in the state that is in.

So yes I feel that I'm getting the really short end of the stick here reading how Roger's and everyone else car is now tuned to perfection and the person who is responsible for creating the problems in the first place has not addressed my issues.

So yes I'm downright pissed reading these stuff , I only have one glimpse of hope that I will be made partially whole here, as I doubt that the rebuilt money I will ever see it again. I always believe in people and I hope that is the case here.

Good grief! Simple solution. As long as you are moving, move to DFW. Most folks here even understand Canadians when they talk. You'll only need to replace "Eh?" with "y'all"

Hi Danny - obviously you an Imre have a hidden agenda in your posts that the good people of DFW are not party to - not saying you do not have an issue just that it is totally lost on us. Talk to Colin directly and he did post that he was planning to get in touch with you today on his return home. Good luck.

GT cams, X-pipe, Lomas exhaust, larger throttle body and hogged out intake runners is all I can think of right off hand. I have no idea what's going on up in Danny's posts.
