Dynamic kick down was only on the 94/95 GTS.
Makes a huge difference - slight pressure on the accelerator and she kicks down - more pressure and she kicks down again if needed. No more stomping.

Right, they didn't want me to take home all the awesome car awards so they kept it on.

Time for a kit!
I recall reading an earlier thread about a retrofit....sounded very difficult and IIRC the commentator thought it might not have been worth it. Good to hear different view.

Dynamic KD is a very expensive mod - I bought my parts sometime ago.
Just the TPS is now $271.
The relay is now $82.
6 way MAF connector and other small bits about $60.
Well worth it to me.

I think it's almost time for an fender intervention.

You bastards would just take off the dented fender leaving me with nothing there.

Rogers car is on it's way home now, he just needs to drive it for a 100 miles and we can get the alignment done. Then he should be good for a little bit longer.

What do you mean 'take' off the fender?

I have aviation snips, we'll just cut out the section that offends us and hand it to you.

So, we have yet to have a range report on this GTS. Roger? Is it driveable?

I used to have a very nice, sort of stock GTS with mild manners. What I have now is an absolute BEAST!!!!!.
Spins rubber in Third - nearly uncontrollable in 1st & 2nd - WOW F****ing WOW!!!!

Where did all this power come from???

"Lizard" did the Shark Tuning with help from Sean and Mr. Merlin. Gobs of power I have never experienced before. Can't wait to get her on the dyno. More than enough to go out and eat a tractor just for fun.

So far about 400 miles on the new vacuum system with zero oil usage. Water treatment to get rid of the "Large" build up of carbon which will be repeated. Before you could feel the timing being pulled out all the time but not any more. This is what a GTS should feel like.

I am one very happy camper - thanks Sean, Colin and Stan.
