Please, for those of us that don't know what they are doing, elaborate.

Lol, I tightened a lug nut today, tomorrow I'm going to remove it and see if Colin can figure out where it goes. Should be fun.

Now why would I do that?

Stan and I are going to do the oil pan gasket on the GTS today, IF, I can shuffle cars around enough to make room. I'll get some pictures of it today if we get started.

Colin has to leave this afternoon as he is being deported at 4pm CST.

I'll be up around 1 with my S4, going to get some work done on the TB job. Was hoping to use the lift?

My GTS has been off the road for over 12 months while we took care of a lot of wish list items ----

Gearbox rebuilt by Greg Brown - as smooth as butter - thank you Greg
Intake Manifold and cam covers PC'd by Ben Genovese in my companies colors with my 928sRus logo on the side plate.
Wider throttle body courtesy of Sterling Gee
12 way heated with memory seats courtesy of Mark Anderson at 928 International.
Seats - front & back - recovered in raff leather and red piping and converted to sport seats - courtesy of Rob Budd at The Classic 9 Leather shop.
Dynamic Kick down added by Sean Ratts at 928 Docs
All mechanical work completed by Sean Ratts of 928 Docs

Complete Shark Tuning done by Colin Jensan - completely new car - thanks Colin.
New Vacuum pump system to eliminate oil ingestion, pinking and oil consumption. After over 300 miles of hard driving zero oil used - normally nearly a quart under these high speed conditions - Thank you Colin.

New oil pan gasket - SOPG and stud kit by Stan Kolen aka Mr. Merlin.

As always, class act recognizing the products and talents of others that contributed skills...For almost all of us, I think, it really does take a village. Or maybe a medium size city. Especially for RoWs.

At any rate- I thought GTS had dynamic kickdown? Was it only in the last year?
Would've been neat to see some before/after testing on the throttle body, but it does often make little sense to do mods in isolation.

^^ Pls tell me the merlster didn't frost his hair?

:-)
j/k
