I had the pleasure of meeting Matt and that Gulf Blue beast of a thing at a small clandestine location of sorts; Jason Gonzalez's Maniac Racing and R7 Restoration headquarters where he does nothing but rescue and rejuvenate unloved 944s. the three of us had one hell of a time with each other's company and our machines; this underscores the fact that these cars create an incredibly genuine sense of camaraderie that's so intoxicating.

it's been a while since I've been on these forums...to long a while. so here's a little ditty I wrote after a bit of reflection on reaching this thing known as "middle age" and mixing it up with truckloads of Porsche passion and old-souled friends.
