Default Hankook Ventus V12 Evo

anyone have a new or slightly used Hankook Ventus V12 Evo, 225/45 ZR17 94Y? I have a defective steel belt in one tire and apparently they don't make these anymore. Don't want to buy a new set of tires as the present ones a 2 yrs old and only 3k miles

Thanks

If one tire is defective and they don't make it maybe they will give you a deal on 2 tires? Worth a try asking them what they recommend as it is a defective product.

I'm working thru their dealers right now trying to find a tire. I started this inquiry near COB on Friday so most need this Monday to do their checks. Calling Hankook direct is a good idea and will pursue.

So if I don't find the 'Evo' and have to do the Evo 2, which has similar but not identical tread, am I asking for problems putting 2 new ones on the front end and leaving the old ones on the back end (I have 3k miles on them)?

I always used to change out all 4 at a time, when refreshing tires, but then realized that was silly/waste and will now swap 2 at a time front set or rear set dependent on wear. I've not noticed any issues doing 2 at a time, running different models front/rear, but then I'm not on the track or anything either. I would avoid just changing one tire though, especially if a front tire.
