Default WTB: 2 @ H4 Euro Bulb Holder "protective cap" 928-631-923-00 FOUND!

I need two of the H4 Euro Bulb Holder "protective cap" 928-631-923-00.

As I understand it, they are NLA from Porsche, and I also checked with Tom at 928 Intl and no joy there.

They look like this ( Pic borrowed from other threads):

New H4's come with these - anyone (ROW mainly) who has replaced a broken H4 with new should have one as a spare...

There are lots and lots of these freed up from when people changed their H4s to LED bulbs (instead of the original halogen bulbs). You just need to find somebody who will part with them instead of leaving them in their 928 parts bins (like I am).

I guess that was a bit ambiguous. The "like I am" means that I'm intentionally leaving them in one of my 928 parts bins for now.

Hope somebody else sees this, though, and is willing to let theirs go.

Dumb question, but do these not work with led bulbs? I got replacement led bulbs for one of my project cars and removed the H4 bulbs...then used these covers...they fit fine...bulbs won’t light, but don’t think they ever have since I’ve owned it...

Great info Ed, but my lights don’t have a power pack or anything like that...this is what I got...thought they were “plug and play”....

^^ Those are definitely plug and play. They won't have the performance of a headlight with a proper ballast pack though.
