Buy, Murf or Victor, and done. I wouldn't even uprate the wheels/tires or exhaust.
But that's just me being hypothetical, with monopoly $.
actually this fits the bill of a car i would never "modify" just leave it for what it is and let it age gracefully.

very nice car and unique color combo.

That's a beautiful car. I love this color... suits 928 so well. Classy.

PS: Why is the sunroof on 928 such a no-no? I don't get it. Does it leak or rust?

Mileage and date of the last TB/WP? Any feel for how firm the $19.5 is?

(my wife's new Golf has me shopping for my own driveable toy... the '89 is a long way from daily-able)

It can be a concern if you are over 6'2" and 250#, and have short arms and legs. Or want to do DE's where a helmet is required.

I'm 6'2 - I had a 928 with a sunroof a few years ago and just couldn't get on with the lying-down driving position enforced by the lack of headroom, or the intermittent bonking my head going over speed bumps etc. I tried the factory fix of getting an extended-hub steering wheel, but its a poor solution.

A no-sunroof 928 has about 2" more vertical headroom which makes a huge difference. Both my current S4's have no sunroof, and I won't buy one with a sunroof again, unless I buy it with the intention of replacing the roof panel and headliner
