Default Rear suspension bushing

Guys, I've tried searching and I've found some information but not the specific detail i need. Long story short, I'm in need of replacement bushings for most of my rear suspension which was already replaced with polyurethane bushes about 10 years ago. These have done there dash and are in various states of disintegration so I'm planning the next step. Currently I'm intending to use the bushings listed on Carls website for the rear lower control arm and Weisach link and thats ok. But i can't find anything anywhere for the front most bushing on the lower suspension arm, the one with the eccentric affecting toe.. Is there a part available for this?

The car is an 86 S2 so its running the S4 type suspension, it mainly sees track use but drives itself there and back.

I responded to your thread on FB.
Get a good set of factory arms with good bushes, or contact Popov and go full rose jointed.

Colin, I already have some other engineering underway behind the iron curtain and based on timeframes there i think i will go with the used arms as i actually want to drive my 928 and not just be buried with it along with a promissory note..

Might check Whiteline out of Oz, and then run down a vendor if they are manufacturing the particular bushing you need.

I believe Mark Anderson was working on getting refurbished arms from the same source as the front arms but don't know the status.

Dr Nick - I do not make a poly replacement for the Weisach joint (what Porsche PET refers to as the "Rocker Bar" 928 331 085 00 and have no plans to.

However - at the front end of that assembly are the rubber bushes the eccentric bolt goes through for adjusting the rear toe, like you said. Is it those rubber bushes you wish to replace with poly? I can look into that - it would seem do-able.

I think he wants to wash the taste of polyurethane out of his mouth, for now:

Those do not look like our poly bushings. Not all polyurethane is the same....

Do you know where he/you got them?

Rob, thanks for linking those pics from Fb - thats what I'm talking about! Although the specific bushing i was referring to isn't pictured in these pics. They came from Racebred Autos in Australia over ten years ago.

You're talking about the 'rocker bar' bits?

Yes. I do not want to make the rocker (what we have been calling the Weissach bushing) but, at the end of that piece there is a more common rubber bushing that the eccentric bolt goes though for the adjustment of toe.

I do think we could look into providing a polyurethane replacement for that bushing if people were interested. I have Weissach links here to test-fit it on. If I get the time today I will press the old bushing out of one and have a look-see.
